ARCHOS moves to the living rooms with the Archos TV+, the stand alone multimedia DVR to record your favorite TV broadcasts on a high capacity hard drive, to directly access the great offers of our VOD partners on the ARCHOS Content Portal, or to stream multimedia content from a PC connected your home network via its WiFi or Ethernet connection.The Generation 5 line from ARCHOS features the fastest, easiest way to access digital entertainment for downloading wirelessly to the device. With the ARCHOS Content Portal, the Archos TV+ puts your favorite movies, TV shows, music and more directly on your TV screen. Whether the content is free, purchased, or rented, the Archos TV+ grabs your content directly from the Internet, using the WiFi or Ethernet connection your from home network.
With the Archos TV+, you get a personalized TV Program Guide, on TV screen, to easily make scheduled recordings. Just select the “Recorder” icon, and choose the program you want to record from the TV grid. You will see the synopsis of the program. Simply validate it and the Archos TV+ will record the selected program at the appropriate time. The Archos TV+ will wake up your Satellite receiver, cable, ADSL or DVB-T adapter, select the right channel and record your program. Automatically update the TV Program Guide via the WiFi or Ethernet connection.
The Archos TV+ bridges the gap between the PC and the TV. For the first time, you can stream content from the PC or the Internet to the TV—all through a WiFi or Ethernet home network.
And, if you want to surf the web on your TV screen, the Archos TV+ is OperaTM 2 web browser ready. Just install the optional Web Browser plug-in and surf the Internet directly on your TV.
And if you want to take your recordings with you, simply transfer it from the Archos TV+ to your ARCHOS PMP (fully compatible with Generation 3, 4 and 5)
