Archos Conversion with Pocket DVD Wizard in version 3 has added support for Archos AV series players. The Wizard program supports both the WMV and AVI outputs which are required by Archos media players. Please remember that you will need to know which output your Archos uses as some play one format, others play the other, and a few including the AV700 will play both.
The Pocket DVD Wizard is tried and tested with Archos players. You do not need to learn about different codecs and bit rates, screens that vary in size and brightness or the audio capabilities of your Archos player; this has already been done for you.
How to convert DVD video for the Archos
Simply download and install the latest version of the Pocket DVD Wizard.
The installer will place an icon on your desktop, click this to start the application, then click the large ‘Select a DVD’ button.
The Wizard will then take you through the options, step by step. When you get to the select a device option simply select the Archos, either the ‘Archos WMV’ or ‘Archos AVI’ should work. If you find one will not play on your player, try the software again and select the other.
The Pocket DVD Wizard will then do its magic and create a file you can copy to your Archos using your USB cable. Make your Archos conversion simple.
