Archos 204 Music Player Review
In this Archos 204 Music Player Review, you will see that this pocket-sized music player is quite small, but boy, it’s mighty! The Archos 204 Music Player slips into a sleek black exterior and comes in two different storage sizes, 20 GB and 30 GB, that can store both music and photos. The Archos 204 20 GB can store up to 10,000 songs and 200,000 photos while the 30 GB can store up to 15,000 songs and 300,000 photos.
Compared to the Apple iPod and Creative’s Zen, the Archos 204 Music Media Player is surprisingly smaller, yet the digital screen carries a very nice, clean picture. You can plug it into your computer using a standard USB 2.0 cable and automatically syncronize it with Windows Media Player or you can drop files directly onto the device. The Archos 204 is perfect for someone who only wants to display photos and/or play music on their player, as not everyone wants play video and store data.
Full size capacity in an ultra compact package
At the same price as its mini-size competitors, the Archos 204 offers a higher storage capacity of up to 30GB - that will please owners and let them store their entire music collection. Archos still provides a small, portable music player that will easily fit in your pocket or your purse, in spite of its full size storage capacity.
Listen to your music
The Archos 204 has the ability to play MP3, WMA, WAV and protected WMA music files, plus you can transfer up to 15,000 songs from your CD collection to your Archos 204. With the Archos ARClibrary, an automatic music indexing system (compatible MP3 Podcasts), you can create playlists on the move without using a computer. While listening to your favorite music, color album covers are visibly displayed on the digital screen.
View photos
You can store and view up to 300,000 JPEG photos which can be directly transferred to your Archos 204 from your computer with the USB 2.0 high-speed interface. You will be able to enjoy your photos on the 1.8″ OLED colour screen and easily organize your files with intuitive browse.
